Family photography in Chesterfield – the new way of doing portraits for 2020

Happy New year, my lovelies. I mean can I even still say that now – How is it already January? Wait, how is it the END of January! I don’t know about you all, but I am focusing on all I have to be thankful for because it helps me to NOT focus on the fact that I haven’t done even one thing that I said I would do in the New Year… Actually, writing a blog post was one of them, so can I technically tick that off? Anyway, I’m going to crack on now and tackle my ever-growing list!

2019 was a beautiful blur. I worked with so many lovely families, couples, graduates and a few animals too. Embracing new and amazing faces is always exciting but the magic is the returning clients, this just melts my heart every time.

I am so blessed to watch your children grow a little bit more, celebrate and even cry with you, hold your hand as your family grows and listen to all the stories. I will never take this privilege for granted. I hope I give all of my people the gift of memories. It truly is the closest thing to the gift of time.

So what’s in store for 2020 I hear you cry… Well, I hope you will be happy to know much of the same. Natural family portraits, natural wedding photography, lifestyle newborn photography and fun unconventional photography that will make you smile. This is me, this is my style and this is to stay. But I have been playing about with some new packages to offer my returning clients because as I always say I don’t want to capture your family as a one-off… let’s document your family every year, let’s record them, make a legacy of memories that will be cherished for years to come. I want to be part of your wallpaper, along for all the rides.

2020 sees the launch of my Destination Wedding Photography and oh my… I am beyond excited but I will blog about this soon. Three couples booked, three amazing locations, one ridiculously giddy photographer ready to party… I mean work very very hard. Love heart.

So if like me you were pants at making and sticking to New years resolutions check out this Wise Blog Post I basically need to do 1-14 and have completed ZERO. I’ll get on that!

So I promise to get better at blogging about Chesterfield wedding photography and Chesterfield family and newborn photography, and sharing work this year, as quite frankly last year I was pants. If you don’t see a blog post from me at least monthly, give me a nudge 😉
