The main Lawful Basis that we rely on for processing personal data is that it is required for us to fulfil our contract with our customers. We may also rely on Legitimate Interest, Consent or Legal Obligation for some data processing.
We typically collect personal information when you contact us via our website, phone or email to request a quote from us and then if you subsequently engage us on a photography commission.
It is important to make sure that the details we hold about you is accurate and up-to-date, so make sure you let us know if anything like your email address or phone number changes.


Occasionally, we contact previous/existing customers to provide information about further products and services that may be of interest to them. You can withdraw consent for this at any time. You can also ask us to stop sending you any marketing material. You can easily withdraw consent or opt-out from any email marketing messages. You can do this by clicking the ‘unsubscribe’ link at the bottom of each marketing email.


All of our data storage, communication with customers and invoicing is dealt with using our website, SD Cards, offline storage hard drives, our offline editing application, the Pic-time service (gallery software- you can choose whether this is ‘locked’ or ‘open’) Meta (social media), Studio Ninja (invoicing and client portal for communication) and Zoe Sharp (our company accountant). We ensure that your personal information is stored securely and with reputable data processors.


We share personal information with the processors that are listed above and where we are obliged to do so, police or other law enforcement agencies to help them with any investigation or prevention of crime.


We collect personal details from you for the purposes of providing quotations, communicating with our customers, providing on-line viewing galleries of photography sessions and ensuring we keep accurate financial records. We keep these records for the minimum time needed and delete personal data where it is no longer needed.


You have the following rights in relation to your personal information:
• the right to be informed about how your personal information is being used;
• the right to access the personal information we hold about you;
• the right to request the correction of inaccurate personal information we hold about you;
• the right to request the erasure of your personal information in certain limited circumstances;

• the right to request that we transfer elements of your data either to you or another service provider; and
• the right to object to certain automated decision-making processes using your personal information.
