Sami Tip Derbyshire wedding – Lee and Rich

If you’re planning a wedding at Sami Tipi Cuttle Brook in Swarkestone, Derbyshire, you’ll love this wedding for inspiration!

Lee and Rich got married at Sami Tipi Cuttle Brook, which is a Derbyshire Tipi Wedding Site in Swarkestone, Derbyshire with a view of the river. It was one of the most fun weddings I’ve shot and the sun shone all day long! Lee and Rich got ready for their special day at Swarkstone Pavilion with access to the rooftop of the Foley and the beautiful veiws.

The ceremony was at sunset in a naked tipi flooded with fairy lights. During the ceremony they had several beautiful readings from friends and family. The service was conducted by their good friend. It was such a personal service full of laughter and tears.

They decorated the space with a nod to the vikings, which I loved. The reception was in a tipi at Sami Tipi Cuttle Brook – I love this venue because you can totally personalise it. Weddings at Sami Tipi Cuttle Brook are amazing, because it’s always so relaxed. The tipi’s can be completely personalised.

Why Sami Tipi Cuttle Brook is a great place to get married?

Sami Tipi Cuttle Brook is perfect for anyone who loves the outdoors, and is one of the loveliest places to get married in Swarkestone, Derbyshire. The venue offers no corkage fees – and there is a perfect field at sunset that’s perfect for photos or even smoke bombs.

The Party

The couple had a cocktail drinks reception in the afternoon, and live music in the evening. The Dolly Parton Tribute act was a huge hit and the dance floor was full all night long. I also loved the fire dancers. For dinner they had a buffet if fine meats and cheeses, and the first dance involved the wedding party getting on the dancefloor to get the dancing going. They finished off the evening with Jagerbombs and conger trains.

The Couple

Lee wore a navy suit and Rich wore a dusty pink suit and they looked really dapper. Their attention to detail was fabulous and I particulary liked to feathered bow ties and personal cuff links.

Advice for planning your wedding at Sami Tipi Cuttle Brook

My addvise to anyone planning a tipi wedding is to embrace the freedom to make the space your own and do things your way.

We loved getting to know Adele and sharing our special day with Her. She really listens to what you as a couple want and captured everything we asked for and more.”
